On December 30, 2022, echOpen closed a round of financing with its historic investors, renewing their confidence and welcoming new ones to its capital. Business Angels (entrepreneurs and senior executives), major European family offices, corporate venture and the AP-HP are all supporting the company, which, thanks to this fund-raising, has increased its financing to 12 million euros since its inception.
This new round of financing enables echOpen to move into the industrial and commercial phase:
- Strengthening management and development teams.
- Leveraged financing of supplies and production resources.
- Financing the market launch of echOpen .
echOpen develops and manufactures an ultra-portable medical ultrasound imaging probe connected to a smartphone or tablet. This innovative solution will be used worldwide by doctors, midwives and paramedics in hospitals and clinics. Heralded as the stethoscope of the 21st century1 , the echOpen solution will meet the need to strengthen diagnostic capabilities at the front line of patient care.
